Within the scope of the contract on the "Project for Improving Earthquake Research Infrastructure of Pakistan Meteorology Department" among TÜBİTAK MAM Climate Change and Sustainability Vice Presidency (BYİDS) Earth Sciences Research Group, T.R. Ministry of Culture and Tourism Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) and Statistical, Economic and Social Research and Training Centre for Islamic Countries (SESRIC); TÜBİTAK MAM BYİDS Earth Sciences Research Group experts started technical training activities on GPS, Seismology and Soil Classification, which will last for 9 days at the Pakistan Meteorology Department Headquarter in Islamabad.
The first of the four training rounds planned within the scope of the project and lasting for a total of 19 days, was held at the TÜBİTAK Gebze Campus with the participation of 12 PMD researchers in March 2022.
