TÜBİTAK aims to improve society’s quality of life and to serve national sustainable development by being a scientifically and technologically innovative, leading, contributing and sharing organization. TÜBİTAK supports academic and industrial research, development and innovation efforts, runs institutes which perform research and technological development in line with national priorities, sets national Science and Technology policies and creates awareness at all levels of society by publishing books and periodicals. Domestic and international academic efforts of scientists are supported by scholarships and awards. TÜBİTAK aims to improve the national competitiveness by funding university, public institution and industrial projects.
